I heard that the new BUSHIDO album went gold in like a day. Shouts to 83 Sound for being on that album!Bushido just recently did a concert in berlin as well, I bet that was nuts.Make sure you cop the album and hear what 83 Sound has to offer. So if your from K-town (kaiserslautern) then you have most defintely heard of 83 sound. If you haven’t,let me school you on the haps!
83 sound is a 6 man production team producing mostly Hip-Hop but also Drum&Bass, R&B, House, and movie scores. The team was founded by two of K-town’s most revered producers, Microphono and Max Mostly, who have pretty much given the city a soundtrack for the last 10 years. Ask any local artist from the city about these two and you will get an unofficial bio on each of them. Later to come into the team was O.C., Kemz, Kayohes, and FeelthisBeats.
The 6 have been sought after for their unique sound, engineering, and all out talent when it comes to creating “something different,” for that special project. Their grind is limitless. If you try putting a stamp on their work, you will fail, since their musical range has no signature.
Mostly working with local artist, the six are finally starting to reap the benefits of producing quality music. They have already started moving units with RAF CAMORA’S album “Therapie Vor Dem Album” released by Wolfpack Entertainment, an indie label signed by Universal Germany. Also dropping in the 4th quarter is an artist from Berlin who sought after 83 sound for their originality. Im not gonna drop any names on this one since its still unofficial, but heads will turn, bodies will drop. I will keep you posted.
